Sr Systems Administrator

 Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Work with all site personnel to plan, implement, and support internal as well as enterprise business systems. Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair servers, workstations, and network devices in a mixed Windows and Unix/Linux environment. Monitor server processes, databases, and business systems to ensure minimal downtime and meet service levels. Responsible for generating and presenting metrics, reports, information and communications to upper management and the company on status, issues, and plans. Work closely with all business departments and personnel to ensure that technological services and support are integral to the operation of the business and remains a key team member in the successful operation of Cambrex and its business goals. Administration of local LAN comprising 65+ users and 100+ workstations and servers and participating in global teams supporting 1600+ users and thousands of systems. Lead implementation of new hardware and software initiatives and projects as needed. Maintenance of system integrity and security, testing, and reporting. Lead validation and qualification efforts of key IT and laboratory technical systems to be compliant with regulatory requirements including SoX, cGMP, and others. Coordination of corporate/local system needs and expansions. Assist with special projects as needed.   Requirements: BS/BA in computer technology field or related equivalent experience. Five or more years of experience in system administration in multiple environments. Windows workstation and server administration, installation, configuration, and maintenance Experience with relational databases important; Oracle, MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server Active Directory management skills Network management and architecture Must have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills and be able to work independently as well as a valued team member.   Preferred/Beneficial: Experience maintaining systems in a regulated environment, especially FDA/DEA/MHRA, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc. Experience with system qualification and validation procedures and maintenance Experience with laboratory data acquisition and processing systems Unix/Linux administration Siemens control systems Systems and network security experience. 18-00115

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
