The primary responsibility will be to prepare reporting and analysis and assist in implementing corporate pricing strategies to increase gross profit by maximizing price through a combination of opportunistic pricing (high end) and standardization (low end) while optimizing market share.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare monthly reporting
Perform analysis and make recommendations for margin enhancements that will generate increased revenue, profits and customer satisfaction
Develop and maintain standard reports on a web based report generation system (COGNOS) to be utilized by VPs, regional managers and branch managers
Track and monitor compliance of implementation of cost increases
Establish and maintain sell levels for showroom products
Monitor compliance to corporate pricing policies of regional pricing coordinators
Perform competitive market analysis by product and/or product category to assist in establishing proper pricing levels
Provide phone support for researching and correcting pricing issues
Assist with acquisition pricing conversions to trend
Perform other responsibilities as needed
Job Requirements
A bachelors degree in business, marketing, finance or a closely-related field.
Pricing, marketing, financial and/or analytical background

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
