6K - $103K a year 8 days ago 8 days ago 8 days ago - Lead the performance of field operations for all service/maintenance projects - Maintain project schedules and ensure deadlines are met - Develop action plans to address deficiencies regarding safety, callback rates, and technical support - Recommend and detail changes in maintenance service documentation, methods, process, design, and delivery - Set budgets for material and labor within Park Plus guidelines and complete the required maintenance and repair within those budgets Conduct field education training ensuring that we create and maintain a safe working environment Perform field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and develop site safety/logistics plans - Coordinate all material deliveries and issuing purchase orders - Perform in-depth surveys and maintenance inspections making note of items to be addressed.
- Write reports with regards to observations made in the field, recommendations for repairs/replacements, description of equipment, etc.
- Provide estimates for repairs as needed.
Review and comment on invoices and proposals from elevator contractors and review scope of work - Oversee Installation projects as assigned.
Making weekly visits where applicable, reviewing submitting and drawings for Code and specification compliance, approving payments and witnessing tests.
- Handle technical and other matters and field work, as assigned.
- Attend and participate in office scheduling and meetings.
- Follow-up on all field related work to see that all installation come to a timely completion.
Verify and determine elevator acceptance tests and punch lists.
- All paperwork, including time sheets, to be submitted on a timely basis.
- May need to witness Annual tests and site visits - Responsible for developing and managing relationships with clients.
- Forecast and schedule labor resources, maintain customer quality assurance, and improving efficiencies - Develop and maintain professional and productive relationships with co-workers, field employees, clients, and others in contact with the job.
Qualifications:
- Comply with Company professional standards to ensure the quality of service to the clients.
- Be an industry expert to support our clients and provide knowledge and solutions.
- Strong technical writing and report development skills are helpful.
- At least 10 years of industry experience.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Punctual and good attendance is required.
- Elevator industry experience or experience leading field level associates/technicians in a similar industry is mandatory for this position - Knowledge of elevators, elevator service contracting, and elevator service estimating needed.
