01 an hour 19 hours ago 19 hours ago 19 hours ago SOFT's client located in East Rutherford, NJ is looking for a Warehouse Cash Handler for a long term contract assignment.
Responsibilities:
Currency verification.
Receive bulk currency deposits for automated note processing; perform prepping activities to prepare currency for processing, such as detecting notes of wrong denominations in each strap.
Process each bundle received through the BPS (Banknote Processing System) which may reject currency due to possible lack of fitness or counterfeit status.
Verify rejected currency through the RS (Reconciling Station), prepare unfit currency for IDA (Independent Destroy All); detect counterfeit currency; record individual bank differences resulting from such verification, as well as from the detection of deposit shortages and overages.
Comments/Special Instructions; Candidates would have to be able to train on the night shift and work either day or night shift once training is completed.
This will be a compressed workweek consisting of 4 x 10 hr, Monday through Thursday.
